Hello

It has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl to open a bakery. As a child,  when my friends were borrowing the Babysitter Club or Judy Blume books from the library I was borrowing cookbooks. I would hand copy my favorite dessert recipes into my very own cookbook fashioned out of a loose-leaf binder.

As I grew older and went onto graduate college I found myself with a career in the live events and conference industry. I found great joy in creating a wonderful and rewarding event experience from beginning to end for my clients and customers. However, after 20 years I wanted to make a change.

 

My passion for baking and cooking always remained a hobby and something that I used as a outlet. I always said the best therapy for me was baking. As a family we always say, “sometimes you just need a little sweet”.

I also always loved finding new bakeries to try. When we lived in New York one of my favorite things to do with my children was going on our “food crawls”. We would narrow in on a certain part of NYC to try a few different restaurants sampling an appetizer or an entree but my favorite part was always the dessert! Especially cookies. I could not leave the city without grabbing a famous black and white cookie or some sort of oversized cookie.

At the end of 2021 I felt it was my time to finally do something that has been calling to me for years and open my own home bakery. I am constantly trying to learn and find new ways to elevate traditional cookies, brownies and blondes. Why have a regular chocolate chip cookie when you can have a monster cookie rolled in peanut butter cups? Why have a regular brownie when you can have one with Oreo buttercream and chocolate ganache? I am always striving to bring joy to my loved ones with anything that I bake and I hope that I do that to you as well.
